The Fudo Myo-O statue is made of stone.

The main statue is 薬師瑠璃光如来】 Yakushi Ruriko Nyorai.

Another statue is 阿弥陀如来 Amida Nyorai.

The temple was founded around 1480 in 芝川付 Shibakawa village by Saint 宥鎮法印, who died in 1486.
Around 1580, when the 岩槻城 Iwatsuki Castle burned down in a war,
the Temple was removed to its present location.

The Yakushi Statue in 薬師堂 the Yakushi Hall is called
Oka no Yakushi 岡の薬師 "Yakushi on the Hill"
The Yakushi statue was made by 傳教大師 最澄 Dengyo Daishi Saicho.

If someone rings the bell at 薬林寺 the Temple Yakurin-Ji, he will not have bad luck any more.
