The Kannon statue is 千手観世音菩薩 Senju Kannon with 1000 Arms.
The main statue is Shaka Nyorai　釈迦如来.

The temple was founded in 1334 by 妙環禪師 Zen Priest Myokan.
as a retreat temple for the priest from 鎌倉建長寺 Temple Kencho-Ji in Kamakura.
The name was first written 松音寺.
