Once a man was trying at night to catch ayu 鮎 sweetfish in the river between
清泉寺 the Temple Seisen-Ji and 浄福寺 the Temple Jofuku-Ji. when
he heard a sound like silk being torn off for more than 30 minutes.
It suddenly became light like the day and then dark again.
People thought it must be the spirits of the dead coming and going from the Temple.

Ichimokuryuu 一目竜 Ichimokuryu, a dragon with one eye
To the East of Kuwana there is a Shrine for the Deity 多度山権現 Tadosan Gongen.
One of its sub-Shrines is dedicated to Ichimokuryuu 一目竜 a dragon with one eye.
It is a very small Shrine, but when the Deity comes oud, there will be strong rain.
Once the villagers came out to watch a black cloud rubbing itself on the roof and then up to heaven.
Once the Dragon Deity was gone, the weather became fine again.
This Dragon Deity would go to 浄福寺 the Temple Jofuku-Ji every month on the 18th day.
There people could see a black cloud coming to the temple.
In the evening, the Dragon Deity would go back to the Gongen Shrine.
