Tokyo Ireido
is a memorial shrine for those who died in the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 as well as in the Great Tokyo Air Raid.
The memorial shrine is located in Yokoamicho Park, a spacious park with plentiful greenery, a flower bed, monuments and statues for the deceased.
Visitors are welcome to learn more about and see items left behind from the war and earthquake at the park museum.
Not only should you bring your family and friends to Tokyo Ireido for a relaxing afternoon, but also for educational purposes on world peace and disaster awareness.
