- Chant of the temple
みほとけの なかにすぐれし だいにちの ひかりにもるる ものとてはなし

It is a sub-temple of the nearby 像法寺 Zoho-Ji.
When 源頼朝 Yoritomo ni Minamoto was on the move to the North from 仁衛門島 Niemon Island
he stopped here to pray for victory "心願成就のあかつきには御本尊の修復を致す".
When Yoritomo started the Kamakura Government,
he ordered a statue of Dainichi Nyorai for the Temple.
The statue is kept in the temple to our day.
To its left is a statue of 阿弥陀如来 Amida Nyorai.
This Amida statue came from 鶴峯八幡神社 Tsurumine Hachiman Shrine.
In the compound are 観音堂 halls for Kannon and 薬師堂 Yakushi.
All the Samurai passing here had to dismount their horses and walk past.
People come here to pray for healing of eye diseases.
On the 7th day of every month people come here for special prayer rituals.
