さいたま市緑区馬場1-3-2 / Saitama city, Midori ward, Baba

The main statue is 阿弥陀如来 Amida Nyorai.
The Yakushi Nyorai statue is in the 薬師堂 Yakushi Hall.

The date of the founding is not clear.
In 1591 it is mentioned in the local records.
In the Momoyama period (1568 - 1600) it was given the Yakushi Statue with an inscription of 1414.
This statue is now a local treasure from Saitama.
The temple is in the compound of 中尾村吉祥寺 Kichijo-Temple is Nakao village.

shidarezakura しだれ桜 / 枝垂桜 weeping cherry tree
The weeping cherry tree at 東漸寺 the Temple Tozen-Ji shows a lantern, if someone has died.

木曽義仲旧臣の長瀬氏によって至宝山西光寺として創建され、経譽円応が開山となるが、治承・寿永の乱以降は荒廃し、のちに子孫の経譽愚底運公が文明13年（1481年）に中興した。
明治12年（1879年）の寺院明細帳には本堂（方7間）、庫裡（間口6間、奥行き10間）、玄関（方2間）とある。
The cherry tree ia 4.4 meters high. Since 1971, is a natural monument of Shiojiri.
